Course Description
This program’s goal is to introduce learners to the proper use of a variety of different masks and face coverings to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Students will learn about a variety of different masks and respirators, including the proper way to don (put on) and doff (take off) each one. Additionally, students will learn how to care for and even make their own masks to preserve PPE for medical and frontline workers.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Recognize different types of face coverings and the level of protection each one provides
- Don and doff a variety of facemasks properly
- Recognize when a face mask needs to be washed or replaced
- Make their own facemask
CEU Requirements
- 100% attendance for the course
- Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor)
- Completion of required post-quiz assessment
- As applicable, achievement of minimum passing score on required end-of-course examination
- Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)
100% attendance in the course and active participation in all learning activities including a required multiple-choice quiz to be eligible to receive a course completion certificate.
