How long will your facility remain open?
As of April 11, 2025, the Long Island City, NY facility is closed. We will continue to offer online, virtual and select on-site training courses. If you need to pick up a credential or register for a class, send us a message here.
What training does GBTS still offer?

What if I need live/virtual or in-person training?
We still offer virtual training, such as our Virtual 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher Course and our Virtual 40-Hour Site Safety Manager Training. We have some exciting changes to our offerings coming soon! While we are restructuring, please contact our fellow DOB approved course provider, New York Safety and Training, for your in-person training needs. They’ve demonstrated a commitment to serving the New York City construction community and we hope you choose to work with them.
Will you still process new SST card applications?
Yes, GBTS continues to process applications for SST cards including new issuance, upgrades, and renewals. All SST cards will be sent by regular mail or UPS for an additional fee. For more information, visit our SST page.

What if I need a replacement credential?
Requests for duplicate replacement SST, scaffold, rigging, site safety, and OSHA credentials can be requested by clicking here. Complete and return the duplicate request form by email to INSERT info email. All requests are subject to review and approval. All materials will be sent by regular mail or UPS for an additional fee.
What if my class was cancelled or I have a credit on file?
If your class was canceled, please check out our online self-paced course offerings. If you have a credit on your account and do not see the course you need online, please contact our finance department at gb.gbtsnyc.finance@gbtpa.com for refund eligibility.
