Course Description
This instructor-led, virtual course bundle offers eight NYC Department of Buildings-Approved SST courses including 8 hours of general and specialized electives that can be applied towards the requirements of a Site Safety Training (SST) Card.
Students will need to have access to an internet connection, a computer, or a tablet with access to a web camera, microphone, and download the WebEx app.

Prerequisites
This course instructor-led, virtual course bundle is appropriate for individuals who meet the qualifications of a Worker under Local Law 196. For more information on Local Law 196 visit our FAQ page. Students need to be able to verbally communicate with an instructor in the primary language of the training.
Students will need to have access to an internet connection, a computer, or a tablet with access to a web camera, microphone, and download the WebEx app.
Training Requirement
Local Law 196 of 2017 requires certain workers and supervisors to receive safety training at construction sites that are required to designate a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager. By September 1, 2020, workers will need a total of 40 hours of training to qualify for a Site Safety Training (SST) card.
Audience
Workers who have completed a 10HR OSHA Construction Health and Safety Program may use this course in place of a 8HR Site Safety Manager Refresher/Chapter 33 course to help fulfill SST requirements before the December 1st, 2019 deadline. Those workers who have already completed both the 10HR OSHA Construction and 8HR SSM/Chap. 33 course may use this course bundle to fulfill the Specialized and General Elective SST requirements before September 1st, 2020’s deadline as well.
100% attendance in the course and active participation in all learning activities including required multiple-choice quizzes to be eligible to receive course completion cards. Students will receive course completion materials for each of the successfully completed SST courses listed above.
Make-up time is not permitted for this training course. Students who miss time from any individual session must reschedule and attend the full training course.
