Is there a grace-period (extension) to renew after my SST Card expiration?

No, the NYC DOB has not indicated they will offer an extension after the card expiration to complete the renewal requirements. Therefore, the SST card must be renewed prior to the individual card’s expiration date. Prior to applying to renew the SST card, all required renewal training must be completed.
Does the renewal of the SST card also count towards the renewal of one or more of the safety trainings used to qualify for the original SST card?
