How far in advance can I complete the renewal training?

To be eligible for use, the SST renewal training must be completed within the 12 months before the SST card expiration.
Can I use training courses other than what’s listed above towards my refresher training requirement?

To date, as outlined in the NYC DOB’s June 2023 Service Notice, these are the only course options that can be used towards the SST card refresher training requirement.
What training do I need to renew my SST card?

Does my SST Card expire?

Yes, excluding Temporary SST Cards, Full (Worker) and Supervisor SST Cards expire 5 years from the date of issuance. Temporary SST cards expire 6-months after issuance and are not renewable.
