Course Description
This program’s goal is to introduce learners to the basics of First Aid including how to apply First Aid techniques at work or in the community where appropriate. Additionally, learners will be introduced to the proper usage and procedure for CPR (although this course is not intended as a substitute for in-person CPR training and certification).
This course is a general elective course that can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training Card. This is an awareness level training only and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.
Course fee does not include the cost of an SST Card.

- Be able to recognize when they or other workers are experiencing a medical emergency
- Know the regulatory requirements for the use and administration of First Aid & CPR
Technical Requirements
It is required that students complete the training on a desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome as the browser.
Our Online Safety Training Courses were initially designed to be accessed on desktop computers. While it is not prohibited to use a mobile device, please note that the student experience may be less than optimal.

100% attendance in the course and active participation in all learning activities including a required multiple-choice quiz to be eligible to receive a course completion card.
